Yellow cardinals are incredibly rare (chance of occurrence is less than one in a million!), but they are found primarily in Ohio, Illinois, Florida, and Alabama. I took this picture out of our office window 3/2/14. I am not in good health so maybe my departed family came to see me, or I go soon. Cardinals are not migratory in my area and I wonder what a huge flock landing in my yard could mean. Fabric pattern consists of many brilliant red cardinals on balsam branches.
